We can define a vaporizer as any device that heats a substance, basically herbs or tobacco, to a temperature where the important elements which any user is trying to extract are released without burning the substance directly. Benefit of this technique is that it allows a person using a vaporizer to get more of the elements from their herbs they are looking for with less smoke and cancer causing agents like tar. A most commonly question is that does vaporizers really work? A user always wants to know all its pros and corns before making investments on buying it. If a person really makes his mind to buy a vaporizer then next question arises is that which type of vaporizer he should opt for. Many people opt for volcano vaporizers while others want to try dome style vaporizers. Some people have really reached a conclusion that vaporizers really don’t work. Vaporizers manufactured by good brands are really effective. They really produce effect of smoking. Branded vaporizers allow user to take very large hits like one would with any water pipe and still no smoke is produced. Vaporizers made by good manufactures are really capable of replacing the water pipe of even the most hard core takers. Users of vaporizers really want to know that if vaporizers are really a better option than smoking or not. This question has not got its conclusion yet. It is yet to be decided as no claims have been made so far. Studies do show that vaporizers reduce toxins in Marijuana smoke. Another consensus conducted tells that vaporizer users say that they cough up less phlegm and generally feel it is better on the throat and lungs. Most of the vaporizers operate on the same basic principles. The main difference is the way of heating the herb that is the way in which the vapor is delivered to the lungs. Two techniques of heating herb in the vaporizer are indirect and direct heating. In method of indirect heating the herbs themselves are not heated directly that is they never touch a heating element but glass is heated and then air is drawn over glass to heat the air. This air is then passed over the herbs heating them very rapidly and allowing them to release their essential elements. Vapor flavor produced by indirect heating is the best vapor flavor possible. Method of direct heating is used by dome vaporizers and by some other vaporizers in the market. In this technique herbs are placed on a metal plate and this plate is heated until the herbs begin to release its main constituent elements. This technique of producing vapors is good but taste produced is not as good as with indirect heating kind of vaporizers.
